My visit to a market place

I was walking down the street of my city, when, rain started. I had no umbrella to protect myself and so I desperately wanted to hide myself. I entered the market place with an aim to beat the rain that had already drenched me from head to toe. For a few minutes, I was busy using my tissue. When I looked back, it was all so different from the outside world. It had a strange smell that differed from the smell of the wet soil that was all over outside. The smell was mysterious, as I really could not separate the different strand of smell. I started walking through the narrow lanes that separated the different shops and tried to glance through the windows. I was tied and walked unto the food vending machines to have my cola.

I was certainly impressed by not only so many shops present under one roof but also glad to see so many people belonging to different walks of life gathered under one roof which is an exceptional picture these days. I felt good. I went ahead to enter a departmental shop where I did a little bit of shopping. There I saw two newspaper vending machines.

I left the market place when the rain had stopped. When I arrived at my place, I was thinking about the crowded market place. Yes, I liked the place, the people around, the vending machines. And most importantly, the unforgettable smell that I still remember.
